Falcons nip Indians in 7th inning comeback 5-4

The Falcons came away with a big victory over visiting Nyack yesterday afternoon coming back in the bottom of the 7th to erase a 2 run deficit.  The big hits were Luke Kern's 2 RBI double that tied the game with 1 out and Owen Lorenz's clutch 2 out single to win the game.

Freshman Stephen Greely earned his first victory as a Falcon.  Owen Lorenz pitched an excellent game going 6 1/3rd innings and giving up only 2 earned runs.  Christian Conklin played a spectacular game in center field making some great catches as well as throwing out a runner at the plate.

It was a great team victory for the Falcons!  Next up for the 6-2 Birds is @ Blind Brook today at 4:30pm.
